Annual Key Biscayne Wine, Food and Silent Auction
Exciting news people! The Rotary Club of Key
Biscayne hosted a wine competition called "New World Vs.
Old World". The New and Old Worlds were split up and the
finalists from the two categories then competed for the ultimate
title. We're thrilled to announce that at the end of the day
our Red Rex was the last wine standing and received the "Best
Of Show", beating out wines from Argentina, Chile, France,
Italy, Austria and Spain.

Dense ruby/purple
with plenty of tar, cassis, blackberry, and pepper, this
intriguing wine displays terrific aromatics, lots of spice
and earth, and a full-bodied mouthfeel. Interestingly, it
is a blend of 75% Syrah and the rest Petit Verdot, Malbec,
Merlot, and Petite Sirah. It is a big wine that should drink
well for at least 5-7 years.
